The experience of large law firms. The choice to be personally involved.

I built my experience at internationally recognised law firms, working at Chiomenti and then at Lexia, where I was a partner and head of department. I have acted for Italian and international clients, from small businesses to large companies with turnover above €50 million. This path led me to handle disputes in which investments, liquidity, commercial relationships and company ownership structures were at stake.

I chose to found my own practice to build a firm that reflects the way I understand the profession: rigorous preparation, personal involvement and a direct relationship with the client. Putting my name on the practice means taking personal responsibility for the assistance provided, from the first assessment to the handling of the matter.

In the course of my work I have assisted businesses operating, among others, in the energy, plant engineering, construction, real estate, media and services sectors.

I have dealt, among other things, with disputes concerning supplies, plant and product warranties; construction contracts for sites in Italy and abroad, acting for international employers and contractors; and claims concerning workmanship, delays, non-payment and calls on first-demand (autonomous) guarantees.

I have assisted business owners and shareholders in disputes over the management and ownership of companies, in challenges to shareholders’ resolutions and resolutions approving financial statements, and in liability actions against directors and supervisory bodies. I have also dealt with the exercise of information rights, the withdrawal and expulsion of shareholders, and disputes over shareholdings and shareholders’ agreements.

I have also handled commercial litigation and arbitration relating to international construction, supply and consultancy contracts, to fees linked to commercial transactions and to breaches of exclusivity agreements and non-compete obligations. I have dealt with trade mark protection and unfair competition disputes, including poaching of employees, diversion of customers and unlawful use of confidential information, including through interim measures.

My experience includes negotiating contracts and agreements for real estate transactions, including abroad, disputes over commercial leases, and preparing partnership agreements and contract templates for the development of business activities. I have handled insurance disputes, damages claims and litigation relating to the transfer of tax credits from Italian building-renovation incentives.

I have assisted creditors in recovering significant sums and in enforcement proceedings, in protecting claims secured by mortgages and in dealings with distressed companies, also handling repayment arrangements, insolvency proceedings, negotiated restructuring procedures (composizione negoziata) and clawback actions.

Alongside my work for businesses, I assist private clients in protecting their assets. I deal, among other things, with contractual and property disputes, leases, debt recovery and damages claims, supporting the client in negotiations, mediation and court proceedings.

This experience has taught me to look at every matter through its practical consequences. An unpaid debt affects liquidity; a dispute between shareholders can block decisions; a property dispute can call into question a significant investment, including a personal one.

I assess the prospects of the dispute together with the timing, the costs and the possibility of a negotiated solution. I provide the client with a clear assessment and personally handle the management of the matter.
